Jeans with / for curves :)

What is the most important garment in the wardrobe of today's modern woman?

You can hear a lot of different opinions – the little black dress, classic blazer, high heels. However, we think it's a nice pair of jeans. But not just any kind, but well-chosen ones, with the right waists, length, shape and color. You don't have to have 26 pairs (although nothing prevents ;) ), but if you only own one - let it be the perfect one! Like in the movie The sisterhood of the traveling pants, if you remember it? If not - we recommend you to watch it, a very sweet film for the soul. But back to the topic, because, unlike in the movie, the perfect pair of jeans is rarely a one-size-fits-all fit. For this reason, it is important to consider several things when choosing, and we will tell you what they are and how to navigate in the sea of denim.

Let's start with the waist

There are basically three options here – low, high and medium. This will define the overall silhouette and it is important to consider what you want to hide or highlight because the waist is a major factor in this.

Low waist

These are the models on whose labels you can see the inscription Low Rise. They are extremely suitable for more compact women with curves - low-waisted jeans frame the upper and lower body and give an overall balanced silhouette. For the best effect and to emphasize the torso and neckline, we recommend tucking the blouse or top into the jeans, it sits very fresh and is tucked in only in the front.

Medium/Normal waist

Also known as Mid Rise and with a height around the navel, these models are ideal for ladies who want to cover some areas but do not need "full" coverage. They sit great on rounded shapes with a not particularly large torso. We recommend them for apple, inverted triangle and rectangle shapes.

High waist

The high waist is still a favorite with maximum "coverage" of forms and norms. With its exceptional ability to elongate the figure and especially the legs, it's no wonder that this type of denim is a favorite of all curvy girls. Another problem often appears with curves - an unpleasant gap behind the belt, which "yawns" and is not perfectly covered even with a belt. With the high waist, this problem is solved completely naturally.

The right fit

After clarifying the "height", let's focus on the "width" - figuratively speaking. Or else – the different cuts. For the purposes of this cute material, I will use the English names of some, because in translation, we believe you will agree, most of them just do not sound adequate.

Cut/Pattern Boyfriend

The beauty of boyfriend jeans lies in their multi-functionality – they sit equally well with heels, sneakers and ballet flats, with a floral shirt, a white T-shirt or a leather jacket. You can safely roll up the legs and put on high colorful socks or Cuban boots; tucking in half the shirt and/or adding a bold belt. Not all at once, right, we believe you got our point ;)

Straight jeans/legs

A classic cut for a timeless look - we suggest you combine them with a blouse with a boat neckline, a patterned shirt or a knitted cardigan. If your goal is to visually look thinner, we advise you to focus on dark colors of these models.

Butt lifters

The so-called Bootcut jeans shape but also give volume at the outer edge, so it's good to combine such a model with structured layers, fitted blouses and shaping jackets, aiming for a balanced look. You can easily choose a model with a longer leg than usual to wear them with higher shoes to fall over.

Wide Leg/Cropped/Flare

The silhouette of these jeans has a retro feel, it is no coincidence that in our latitudes they are also known as "Charleston". We suggest you combine them with carefree tops, loose blouses, and even a denim shirt. This is the perfect model to tuck in your entire blouse or just the front part. We've even seen side retracting - why not?

Skinny/Narrow/Cigarette type

Here, pairing it with boho blouses, tie-up tops or layering the tops will complete the look beautifully, so that it accentuates the curves but doesn't overpower them. Match the length well - to ensure maximum flattering visual lengthening of the silhouette, they should not gather around the ankles.

The last thing to consider is the color of the jeans. Dark models are what to choose if you aim for a visual fit. Light ones are also great for summer and casual looks. You can't go wrong with the neutral tones towards the middle of the palette, whether you're getting ready for a party, a walk in the park or a day at the office.

In conclusion, we want to remind you of one thing - even the most beautiful and expensive clothes will not fit well if they are not worn with a good mood and proper self-confidence <3
