The swimsuit in maxi size - beautiful, modern and loved!
Swimwear - this sometimes anxiety-inducing piece of clothing, especially if we are not ideal (by generally accepted standards) shapes. But with a little thought, a little research, and good selection, any woman can transform herself from shy and trying to hide imperfections into a confident and fashionable beach goddess. I'm here to tell you about swimwear, models and shapes, and after a good selection of swimwear, I believe you'll feel good lying on the beach with a cocktail in hand.
To begin with, I would like to disprove two beliefs that have recently changed for the better. The first is that the swimsuit must be a set - this, happily, is no longer the case at all: in recent years it has become extremely common to buy the top and bottom separately and, yes, it is good that they go, but by no means must be a set. The second belief is that in order to hide the imperfections, the swimsuit must be complete - this is also far from the truth. There are gorgeous two-piece styles that not only cover up, but also highlight the parts you love most about yourself. The important thing in both cases is simply to choose the right model and color.
Let's start with something very simple - in order to choose the right swimsuit, you must first consider what you want to cover up and what you want to highlight. Both different types of swimsuits and individual models fit differently and completely individually. In this line of thinking, my advice is not to completely deny any of the main types of swimsuits (one piece, half, tankini), because you can be very pleasantly surprised by something that you don't normally consider "yours". This is often how the most surprising and successful finds happen.
One piece swimsuit
One piece swimsuits are super suitable for covering up and tightening the tummy area. There are even special models with mesh in this part that are great for shaping the figure and boosting confidence ;) If the center part is what you want to hide, go for models with gathers or ones with curls that shift the focus. Swimwear with vertical patterns are also very suitable - mainly stripes, but on the other hand, a colorful extravaganza in itself would focus attention on the pattern itself and less on the problematic parts.
In order to feel comfortable, emphasize the choice of neckline - this depends on the bust, as you can imagine, but besides being beautiful, the swimsuit should also be comfortable. If you need lift and shaping, choose solid molded cups. If you want lightness and minimization, a plunging neckline will be comfortable and pleasant for you. Last but not least, there are gorgeous one-piece swimsuits with cut-out elements that are not to be ignored at all - whether it's a navel neckline, a cut-out at the top of the stomach or at the sides, these details are super trendy and will bring you extra flair and a dose of flirting.
Two-piece swimsuit
As we have already clarified, two-piece models are not at all reserved for thin ladies, nor do the tops and bottoms always need to be purchased together. If you are going to choose a set, it is important to decide which is the priority - the top or the bottom. Once you specify this, the search will be much easier. For example, you want a boxer to cover your hips or you want a deep cut to emphasize your legs. And maybe you want a bustier - the important thing is that after you specify the priority in the search, you will then easily reduce the choice to several models. If you decide that you want a specific top and a very specific bottom, it will probably be easier for you to search for them separately and you will only have to consider the colors. My advice - choose one colorful and fresh part, and let the other be monochromatic. That way you don't risk looking like a clown with a floral top and polka dot bottoms at the same time, and you'll be able to make more combinations with other tops and bottoms (with a little planning when buying).
Tankinis
This great human invention, gaining momentum in recent years, is simply a two-piece set that looks like an entire swimsuit. Consists of a bikini/boxer and a tank top or mini dress. Extremely comfortable, convenient and fresh, tankinis are the choice of ladies who don't want to be constantly as bare as possible on the beach and at the same time keep up with the latest fashion trends. The top has built-in cups or internal supports for bust support that add maximum comfort, and underneath, the fabric often falls freely without detailing unnecessarily. The top can also be mid-butt length, like a classic tank-top, or it can cover it, like a short dress or a tunic - there are many options and all of them aim to give you maximum comfort and confidence.
Additional accessories
We assume you've picked the perfect swimsuit. But no one wears a swimsuit to the beach or the pool, after all we are civilized women ;) A classic option is a t-shirt with shorts, my personal favorite is a pair of pants that go with the swimsuit and that I could leave on even after taking off the tthe Ennis. Another option is a beach dress – there are gorgeous models that are so beautiful and impressive that you don't even need to take them off when you get to the beach. Well, that makes the extensive selection of swimwear a little pointless, but you can't always have everything on display. A compromise between a dress and a see-through swimsuit is a robe-type cape - from lace to satin to cotton, and here the variety is more than common sense (and wallet) would like. For accessories, don't forget a beautiful hat and quality sunglasses.
There are thousands of guides on choosing a swimsuit according to your figure, and I decided that I didn't want to write another one. Rather, I will allow myself to advise you to get in the summer mood and choose with your heart, with your most beautiful parts in mind and with the idea of highlighting them in the best way. And last but not least, good sun protection with a high factor. Always, everywhere, in a swimsuit or with jeans, sun protection should be present in your daily life on par with the sun ;)
